TRS Split, from Der Mann mit der Maschine, is a handy utility module that allows you to interface stereo 3.5mm connections with the more typical mono TS cables used within modular synthesizer patches. This module features three identical sections, with the middle jack supporting TRS cables with the top jack corresponding to the signal transmitted on the Tip and the bottom to the Ring. TRS Split is a totally passive design that allows you to combine two separate signals onto one TRS cable or separate a stereo source into dual mono.

By patching multiple channels of TRS Split together, you can solve a variety of simple problems within your rack. Want to hard-switch the left and right audio channels or convert between Type A and B TRS MIDI? Just plug your TRS cable into one section, swap channels by patching into opposite channels on another, and take your TRS output from there!
