Dannysound EN129
Dannysound's EN129 is an analog through-zero oscillator capable of rich FM at audio or control rates with a variety of waveforms at its disposal. The inspiration for this module's circuit and name come from Electronotes issue #129, in which Bernie Hutchins presents a design for a mostly discrete analog VCO capable of through-zero FM. Dannysound's EN129 expands on this design and adapts it for modern usage in a Eurorack modular synthesizer.
On EN129, you get five waveform outputs: sine, triangle, sawtooth, pulse, and square. There's a special input that not only controls pulse-width modulation, but also imparts special sawtooth shape modulation, too. Bump the frequency range down with the LFO button, and apply thru-zero linear FM or standard logarithmic FM for complex waveforms and control. Pair the EN129 with Cali and Timbre, and you'll have a powerhouse complex oscillator on your hands!
