Engine V2 Dual VCO
CubuSynth Modular Engine V2
Alchemize complex synthetic timbres with Engine V2 from CubuSynth Modular, a dual-core analog VCO with a plethora of open-ended controls. Each oscillator provides its own set of discrete inputs and outputs, including individual Sine, Square, Sawtooth, and Triangle outputs per-voice, giving you eight outputs of raw waveforms. These waveforms can be controlled independently from each other using the 1V/Oct inputs, or in tandem with the Link toggle switch for any note between 10hz and 20Khz. Both VCO cores provide their own soft and hard sync switches, ideal for creating complex lead sounds. The Pulse output is equipped with its own pulse width modulation circuit which can be affected manually, or via CV per-VCO; this pulse width control simultaneously interacts with the Chaos circuit, which utilizes a shift register design to analyze your current waveform settings to create new, unfamiliar timbres. This circuit can be controlled further with the Chaos attenuverter, Chaos clock input, and the Order switch, which shifts which part of the circuit has the most influence over the sound produced. In addition to the Chaos output, Engine includes ring mod, amplitude modulation, and a 1 vs 2 output, which creates a signal using a comparator between the two VCOs. If you're looking for a complex synth voice to make your Eurorack system sing, Engine V2 from CubuSynth Modular provides nearly endless possibilities for creating timbres both familiar and completely alien.
