These sequences of parameters can be remade in an instant with the randomize button, giving you a vastly different sound as the module's internal routing is rearranged—with over 65,000 possible routing combinations. Adjust how each parameter is linked to the aforementioned sequences with the Gene Modification Knob, which dynamically adjusts how the module is routed with smooth transitions between each. Affect this rerouting with the corresponding Gene Modification CV input for more creative control over your patches. When using the Gene Modification controls, any hardwired patch connection that is made to one of Arkarion's many CV inputs remains intact, even as the internal parameters are changed. As you cycle through these many possible routings, you will certainly find patches you want to save for later use; these patches, including the current DNA sequencing, can then be saved using the internal memory. Up to 64 patches can be saved via the eight banks of eight slots, and can then be smoothly cycled through with CV via the Patch input.

Arkarion is a fully-featured synth voice, equipped with two analog oscillators, an AD function generator, multimode filter, a modulation section with two VCLFOs, and a dedicated delay engine. The function generator section provides both envelope and looping functionality, with a dedicated TRS MIDI input, along with a gate input for initializing the envelope. Control Arkarion's many parameters with the modulation section, which provides two independent LFOs, each of which has different cycling speeds—one faster, one slower—and controllable manually or via CV. The oscillator section offers two main oscillator channels with a plethora of controls for crafting your desired timbre, including linear, exponential, and through-zero FM control, waveform shape control, both frequency (with 1V/Oct accuracy) and fine tune controls, and an aux mix for blending the waveform of each channel into one, or with an analog noise source. Shape your patches using the multimode filter section, offering low, high, band, and all-pass filters—all of which can be controlled with the cutoff and resonance control via the potentiometers or with CV. Instantly add atmosphere to your patches with the delay engine, which includes mix, feedback and a voltage-controllable Time parameter.
