The Crank Sturgeon Silo Jack SE is a piezo-based contact mic made to withstand wear and tear as part of any experimental or noise-focused musician's set up. Featuring a PVC pipe housing, the Silo Jack SE was made to take some hits and still sound great after the fact. The Silo Jack SE also features a red kill-switch that cuts off audio quickly. This is particularly useful for situations where your contact mic is feeding a long delay line and can reduce chances for explosive feedback, or just for adding abrupt gating effects to your gnarly scrapes and howls.
