Craneborne's Brick Lane MC4 is a 4 channel dynamics processor that gives you superb modal PWM compression with a variety of creative options. Configure the channels as mono, link two of them in stereo, or set them up for mid/side processing and have it all nicely displayed on a 5" screen. Not limited to just a single type of compression, you get 6 different versions. Velvet is a vintage vari-mu-style, tube-inspired harmonic compressor for silky smooth control. Float is a transparent opto-inspired compressor for clean dynamic processing. Smash is a FET-style compressor that brings punch to any source. Tame is an ultra-fast, transparent compressor with surgical dynamic precision. Finally, Glue offers a master bus-style compressor, while Polish provides the ultimate mastering-style limiter with the cleanest, fastest analog limiter. In any mode, a Stress control adds harmonic saturation with six unique saturation circuits defined by the compression modes.

In addition to the mono, stereo, and mid/side options, you are also able to set up two channels to run in series giving you more control over the sound, letting you set up two different compression modes for a distinct sound. Dual-band mode gives you multi-band analog compression for lows and mid/highs. If that wasn't enough, free up your CPU by using the built-in de-esser based around analog lookahead, and since it's built into the PWM architecture, there is very low distortion even with aggressive reduction. The entire Brick Lane is digitally controlled via USB or through the NET port, making settings recall a breeze. Each channel also features a TRS insert ready to be patched into the rest of your studio hardware, or into some effects pedals for creative sound design.
