Developed in collaboration with guitarist Paul Davids, Nucleo delivers a unique, three-algorithm reverb effect inspired by the sound of Davids' musical exploration of a nuclear reactor, imbuing your tone with the rich reverberation and characterful reflections heard inside a nuclear reactor. In addition to the nuclear-inspired Reactor algorithm, options for Room and Hall algorithms provide alternative options for more classic reverb tones, making Nucleo a versatile option on any pedal board.

The three-position switch that selects between each mode features a secondary function, like all of Nucleo's controls, in this case selecting between Lo-Fi, Vintage, and Normal voicings for uncompromising control of reverb character. Use the three slider controls to adjust Modulation depth and rate, pitch shifting, and granular textures, enabling a diverse range of cinematic soundscapes to discover. Below these, controls for decay and predelay, tone and diffusion, and a powerful freeze effect with pitch shifting are provided. The rocker switch allows for an easy method of switching between primary and secondary functions, which lends the depth of control in Nucleo an intuitive experience that helps you create your own unique sounds in seconds.

Nucleo also features the capability for preset storage and recall, with up to 128 total presets available via MIDI and three directly accessible favorites which you can switch between using the right footswitch in preset mode. That footswitch also engages the Freeze effect with a simple press, enabling expressive capturing of your reverb sound before it decays for endless textures. This uniquely powerful freeze effect allows your playing to continue in full reverberant bliss, as well as letting the frozen buffer and your live playing respond to settings changes on the device, allowing for expansive and evolving soundscapes. In addition to flexible full stereo I/O, the Nucleo features both 3.5mm TRS MIDI input and output, as well as a USB-C connector for MIDI and simple updates.
