Catalyst Audio Model 156V
The Catalyst Audio Model 156V is a mixer/attenuator offset generator modeled after the Buchla 100 series. It features two CV ins on each channel, which are subsequently mixed together via the bottom pot. The module's middle pot dictates the offset, while the top pot imparts the incoming CV to both the inputs and offset. Making things even more interesting is the fact that the second channel is inverted prior to hitting the mix.
As with the original, the 156V's circuits are not entirely compatible with the 1V/Oct scaling. Consequently, it is ideal for use with non-quantized sequencers and touchplate controllers. For those looking for something fully compatible with the Eurorack standard, rather than an exact clone of the Buchla Control Voltage Processor, check out the Model 156M.
