Catalyst Audio Model 106
Catalyst Audio's Model 106 is based on the Buchla 100 Series mixer. As such, it boasts six input channels, each with a dedicated level potentiometer. With a total of two main outputs, two sub-mix outputs, and discrete transistor circuitry, the Model 106 enjoys a noticeably characteristic sound. To this extent, each channel has a high input level, enabling nonlinear distortion for unparalleled sonic expressiveness.
