Catalinbread's Katzenkönig is a bizarre and ferocious hybrid of the Tone Bender MkII and ProCo Rat, meshing all the best characterstics of fuzz and distortion into a single pedal. Based on the Tone Bender MkII but expanded with additional germanium transistors, this pedal gets seriously loud and seriously mean, with a built-in filter that helps to sculpt even the fuzziest of sounds.
