Catalinbread's Belle Epoch+ is a compact reimagining of the classic Echoplex delay that has found its way onto countless albums and now, onto your pedalboard. With a preamp section that has a higher dynamic range and a higher headroom overall compared to the original design, Belle Epoch+ handle any signal you throw at it. Enjoy a lengthy chuck of delay that now extends to 900ms with three different modes of tape characteristics. Using the Program switch, you can use the standard Belle Epoch Echoplex circuit on program 1. Program 2 offers the "secret mode" from the first iteration of the pedal which adds tape aging, artifacts, and a tighter filter on the Rec Level. The third program will add more degradation to the tape, compress the signal, and tighten the high pass filter.

Controls on the Belle Epoch+ are what you might expect: the Sustain and Rec Level work together to shape the dynamic of the delay line, with Sustain acting as a feedback control, and Rec Level affecting the initial repeat level as well as feeding your signal through a saturation circuit for pleasing warmth or aggressive breakup. Tape FX will adjust how much wow and flutter appears, adding warm vintage tape warble, and the Echo Delay control will adjust how long your delay line is.
