The Boss RE-20 is a painstaking recreation of the Roland RE-201 Space Echo. Make no bones about it, Boss has kept a watchful eye on all the details: the RE-20 boasts identical controls to its predecessor, as well as a precise emulation of its classic tones, albeit with an included tap tempo and expanded delay time. It features front panel controls for bass, reverb volume, treble, rate, echo volume, intensity, and the overall input volume. All this plus 12 separate modes makes the RE-20 a powerful unit that maintains the same quality and functionality as its predecessor. Consequently, it is a marvelous addition to any pedalboard.
