The Boss DR-880 is the current flagship of the Doctor Rhythm Series, offering a huge array of sounds from rock kits to non-Western percussion to basslines. Using sounds from the Roland SRX library, the DR-880's sound is complemented perfectly with its hugely flexible sequencing engine, allowing note-by-note composing as well as EZ Composing and Groove Modification, using pre-set material and transformation procedures to create new tracks from a bird's eye perspective. Construct intense stuttering grooves or just provide backing tracks for private rehearsal or practice, and plug in a guitar or bass to take advantage of the built-in COSM drive models, amp models, and effects!
