The Behringer Xenyx X2222USB features 16 channels comprised of four stereo channels and eight mic/line channels. The latter enjoy Behringer’s proprietary Xenyx preamps and are equipped with single-knob compressors. Additionally, each channel features a 3-band EQ with adjustable mids, as well as pan, mute, solo, and sub/main mix routing.

More broadly, the mixer contains two aux sends alongside an FX send. The FX runs straight to the unit’s integrated FX section but can be re-configured to work with external effects, meaning users can easily incorporate their own effects units into the mix. Rounding out this robust feature set is a built-in USB audio interface that affords users the ability to record just about any line-level signal into their DAW of choice.
