The Behringer Xenyx X1222USB is a 12-channel mixer consisting of four stereo channels and four mic/line channels. It features a fader-controlled effects send routed to an effects section with 16 presets. Levels for the aux/monitor send and USB audio are also controllable via fader. Each of the mixer’s channels features a 3-band EQ, mute button, and two sends. Additionally, the mic/line channels each feature their own single-knob compressor.

The X1222USB is particularly advantageous for live sound applications, as it features a 7-band graphic EQ with corresponding LEDs that indicate the feedback’s frequency levels. The EQ itself enables surgical frequency adjustments of both monitor and main mixes. If all this wasn’t enough, the X1222USB stays true to its name by incorporating USB connectivity, which enables it to interface with a computer for the recording of just about any external line-level signal.
