Behringer RD-6
Providing classic sounding analog drums with plenty of body, the RD-6 from Behringer is a fantastic sounding drum machine that's a great companion to the TD-3. The eight analog drum sounds sound great, with character and depth. Add additional grit and aggression to them with the onboard distortion circuit, modeled after a classic effects pedal. You can also process the sounds with outboard gear using the individual voice outputs, letting you sculpt the sounds even more.
The onboard sequencer is a classic 16-step sequencer that is straightforward to use. Up to 32 patterns can be saved and chained together for whole songs up to 256 bars long. The onboard randomize feature is a great way to capture inspiration and get new ideas flowing. Synchronize the RD-6 to external clocks or send clock information out via the sync jacks on top, or with the MIDI in or out/thru. In addition, there are trigger outputs for both the low and high tom tracks, letting you control outboard gear. Whether you're using the RD-6 with a TD-3, or with any other synthesizer, the beefy analog drum sounds cut through the mix without being overpowering.
