These modules can be separated in your system, allowing for flexible placement within your Eurorack case. The first module is the sequencer, offering sixteen tracks for controlling all the internal sound and CV generators of ARK. This sequencer is particularly open-ended, offering deterministic, stochastic, and Euclidean forms of sequencing from track to track, allowing for complex and varied sequences to empower any creative vision. Additionally, each track has per-step control over velocity, rolls, legato, slides, repeats, harmony tools, and more; all of these functions are controlled from the sequencer module using the computer keyboard-style keys, providing a hands-on experience.

The second module focuses on sound generation, offering a wide range of audio and CV processing tools, along with a versatile FX engine, and global dynamic effects. This module is equipped with eight individual outputs, which can handle both audio and CV, giving you free reign to send both signal types throughout your system. Additionally, there are corresponding gate outputs for each CV/Audio out, making the sequencer fully capable of handling external percussion or polyphonic synth voice sequencing. Freely control ARK's internal parameters with its six dedicated CV inputs, offering deep integration with the modules throughout your system. ARK also offers deep MIDI integration, sporting dedicated MIDI input and output jacks, capable of handling multi-channel MIDI data processing.
