BASTL SKIS
The Skis by Bastl Instruments is a dual decay VCA module for use in Eurorack synthesizer systems. The module features two channels, A and B, each consisting of a envelope with dedicated knob control and a corresponding VCA. The envelope is activated via trigger signals, and the envelope’s buffered output is normalized to the input of the VCA. A special Crunch switch activates a lo-fi VCA circuit, adding a characteristically crunchy effect that changes in accordance with the envelope’s decay. The module’s sections can be used together for the creation of drum sounds, or independently for whatever suits the synthesist’s personal style.
This version of the Bastl Skis features an ALUMINUM front panel.
