Made by musicians for musicians, Arturia's MiniBrute 2 is a compact and powerful synth that wears its heart on its sleeve. Its straightforward exterior features an ergonomic layout with all sections readily accessible and discernable. Functionality-wise, it's all here: the Brute oscillators, Steiner-Parker filter, and the ubiquitous Brute Factor knob—all of which make the MiniBrute 2 a force to be reckoned with.

Beyond its luscious exterior and bread-and-butter modulation ingredients, the MB2 features some welcome upgrades. There's a second VCO and LFO, new VCO and filter frequency modulation options, modifier associated modulation destinations, and an AD envelope that can be looped for LFO duties. Combined, all of these components make the MiniBrute 2 an ideal choice for leads, sequencing control, distinguished basslines, and silky pads.
