A modern-day version of the venerable talk box, ARTICULATOR Evo lets you extract the formant and amplitude information from a vocal (or other dynamic source) and apply it to any other audio track or to a built-in broadband noise generator. 

Perfect for talking guitars, singing synths, and a wide range of special effects (all without having to put a plastic tube in your mouth).

ARTICULATOR Evo is unique among the AVOX plug-ins in that while every other AVOX plug-in is designed to process and affect a vocal track, ARTICULATOR Evo is designed to use a vocal track to control the processing of a second track, ideally a track with broadband harmonic content like a rich synth patch, a processed guitar, or the built-in noise generator (but typically not another vocal track).

Macintosh Versions System Requirements (Intel Processors only):

  • Mac OS 10.11 is not supported at this time
  • AAX Native 64 and 32-bit: Pro Tools 10.3.6 or later (except Pro Tools SE and M-Powered Essential, which do not accept 3rd party plugins) 
  • AAX Native 64 and 32-bit: Mac OS 10.6.8 to 10.10.5 as required by your version of Pro Tools
  • RTAS: Pro Tools 7.x to 10.x (except Pro Tools SE and M‑Powered Essential, which do not accept 3rd party plug-ins)
  • RTAS: Mac OS 10.5.8 to 10.9.5 as required by your version of Pro Tools
  • VST 64 and 32-bit: A certified compatible VST host program that supports the VST3 format
  • VST 64 and 32-bit: Mac OS 10.5.8 to 10.10.5 as required by your host
  • Audio Units 64 and 32-bit: A certified compatible host program that supports the Audio Units format
  • Audio Units 64 and 32-bit: Mac OS 10.5.8 to 10.10.5 as required by your host
  • Audio Units 64 and 32-bit: The VST and AU versions can operate in both 64-bit and 32-bit modes

PC Versions (64 and 32-bit compatible):

  • Windows 10 is not supported at this time

  • AAX Native 64 and 32-bit: Windows Vista to 8.1 as required by your version of Pro Tools
