Taken straight from the circuit of the SWEnigiser, the Proto VCF/VCA offers a unique 3x4 multimode filter with a drivable VCA that can open up a whole new world of sound. Three selectable banks each have four different filter modes which means you can dial in 12 different filter flavors. From your standard low pass to high pass, to several different band passes and even phaser filter voicing. Easily add complex modulation with three different CV inputs, one of which is calibrated for V/Oct pitch tracking. Both the VCF and the VCA can be patched independently, but the filter is normalized to the VCA input, making it the perfect end-of-voice dynamic shaper. The VCA can also be held open with the CV1 knob and a Clip switch changes diode clipping modes between new and old versions.
