Eris from Altered State Machines is a compact 4x4 matrix mixer for crafting complex multi-layered patches in any Eurorack system. Capable of processing both audio and CV, it features sixteen potentiometers, each one capable of adding up to 4x gain to the input signal, meaning you can apply make-up gain to lower level signals, or even overdrive hotter signals. The additional Auxiliary input blends the output of Channel 1 with the Aux input. This means that Eris can be used as a complex effects brain, using Channel 1 as the main output, and routing the remaining channels out to effects and then back into the Aux input. You can even instantly mute said Aux input with the included toggle switch for completely click-less muting, offering a great way to add punch-in, DJ-style effects. Additionally, the gain of the Aux input can be set to either unity or 2x gain with the included toggle switch on the back of the module.
