The FMco from ALM Busy Circuits is a compact digital VCO and voice module that features ALM's proprietary 2-operator architecture, inspired by their beloved Akemie modules. Designed to be easy to use and with a more modern sound than previous vintage emulations, the FMco is a compact way to get glassy bells and crystalline textures into your rack, along with plenty of other classic FM tones. Control the FM index, Ratio, and Waveform selection via your fleshy proboscides or with CV to create your own unique palette of sounds.

The onboard Trig input on FMco activates a built-in decay envelope that controls both FM index and the onboard VCA, allowing the FMco to be a self-contained voice perfect for plucky strings, organic percussion and more. Naturally, it can also be used as a standard oscillator with your favorite envelope and VCA, leveraging its vast timbral range to pair with any signal shaper in your rack. In addition to being an exceptional monophonic voice, a CV-controlled four-voice chord mode is available to create exceptional stabs and lush pads. Use the stereo outputs and enjoy the extra wide spatialization for even more immersive textures.
