The Akai MPC Key 37 G2 updates the original with substantial processing power and a vintage colorway, all while retaining the same musically satisfying interface. Taking its color inspiration from the classic MPCs of the 80's and 90's, this MPC combines a 37‑key synth‑action keybed with pitch and mod wheels along with the legendary MPC pads for production that is as versatile as you are. The interface largely remains untouched with the same easy to use touchscreen and layout that helps with fast sequencing and sampling, minimizing your lag from inception to creation.

Boasting a G2 8-core processor, the same processor found in the MPC Live 3 and XL, you get 4x the performance when compared to the original Key 37. This makes it easier to browse and load instruments and samples, as well as expands the capability for plugin instances to 32. Additionally, the USB-C port allows for audio and MIDI simultaneously, but if you have some old school gear, full size 5-pins are available along with 9 CV/gate outputs for modular gear.
