AJH Synth Dual RVG
Producing ever-changing voltages to run throughout your Eurorack, the Dual RVG from AJH Synths is a dual random voltage event generator, producing an array of malleable voltage sources. All outputs correspond to the LFO that clocks the entire Dual RVG, and even though this module is faithful to its EMS predecessor, the Random Voltage Generator, it deviates by offering an external trigger input for external clock manipulation. The LFO is dictated not only by its speed, which may be voltaged controlled, but also by the Run switch with a gate input to vary it automatically. However, while Run is off, the LFO will only respond to the trigger button to change voltage, but when Run is on, introducing Time Vary will slowly begin to cause variance in the gate length of the LFO for random timing alongside voltage.
The Dual RVG's outputs produce both a jumpy and stepped random voltage dictated by their respective Level controls, alongside voltage offsets for establishing the appropriate range. Unique to output one, there is a slew control to make the voltage glide smoother from one level to another until it's almost drunken and swimming back and forth. The LFO is not only linked to two different constant waveforms lvia its rate, but the Dual RVG also outputs a gate tied to the same rate, influenced by Time Vary, and has its own definable pulse width. The Dual RVG not only offers loads of variance throughout your patch, but it also is a great source of unified modulation to spread from module to module to create evolving yet somehow consistent movement.
