Bring the end-of-chain polish found in professional studio recordings to your Eurorack system with LEQA from 4MS, a combination EQ, compressor/limiter, and stereo widener. LEQA is designed to produce the polish of high quality channel strips and outboard gear with very little setup required. The compressor section is modeled after the famous LA-2A, taking advantage of optical compression for rich, smooth results, while the sound of the EQ is similar to that found in the classic 1073. Compression begins at the Amount knob, defining the threshold level at which the compression will kick in, with a three-position switch for the ratio. This switch offers 3:1 compression, 10:1 limiting, and a complete bypass of the compressor all together, giving you immediate access to that rock-solid "glue" compression sound. Compensate for any decrease in volume with the makeup Gain potentiometer, and blend the compressed signal with the uncompressed with the Dry/Wet mix knob for gorgeous parallel compression.

The EQ section opts for a fixed filter style, with each frequency specially selected to produce the most sonically satisfying results. Bring the often missed "air" to your sounds with the optional high shelf EQ curve, providing a silky smooth 10k boost. Additionally, the dedicated EQ Level knob allows you to define the amount of signal going into the EQ, making its effects more dramatic as the input is increased. Instantly reroute your signal processing with the three-position Pre/Post switch, allowing you to place the EQ section before or after the compressor to change the vibe of your processing, or completely forgo the EQ altogether with the Bypass position. Bring stereo depth to your sounds with the Width control, which applies a variety of widening techniques to transform even mono signals into lush and spacious stereo images. This parameter can be controlled manually, or externally via the CV input, giving you access to stereo spaces that can expand and contract as you see fit.
